Hi folks,
I hope that you are well and are managing to enjoy some crafty times!
Todays Friday Fun share is this lovely feminine Thank you card:
I had some extra papers left from a mini album that I made and I really wanted to create a card with them, so off I went!
I decided that I wanted the card to be A5 sized and also that cream card would tone beautifully. I started by embossing the card front with a Baroque/Damask embossing folder and then used ‘Spun Sugar’ Distress Ink, lightly blended over the pattern, to enhance it.
I used a border punch on the Kraft card layer and added the light patterned paper on top. Next I layered the darker patterned paper tag to the centre.
For the focal point I layered paper strips and flag ended strips, at different angles, with the addition of a length of crochet trim. The final layer is the flag ended card strip with the stamped sentiment. I used a dark brown ink instead of black for the sentiment as black would be to harsh for this particular design.
Thank you for stopping by folks,
Take care and Happy Crafting!!
