Hi crafty folks,
I hope that you are all well and enjoying some fun and crafty times 🙂
Todays shares are some fun and fabulous Cacti cards. In a previous post I shared that I had found some wonderful Flamingo sticker embellishments, at the same time I found some sheets of amazing and colourful Cacti stickers. I knew that they would make amazingly bright and cheerful cards.
So, I got to it. I knew that I wanted the cacti images to be the main focus of the cards. I decided to keep the layers simple by matching them to one of the colours from the cacti stickers.
I had a lot of fun and here is what I created:
I decided upon 6”x6” card bases as I wanted to maximise white space to showcase the fun colours and I also wanted to use a selection of cacti stickers per card. Here is a closer look at the finished projects:
As you can see I added some light shading under each of the Cacti pots to ground each image otherwise they would of appeared to be floating in mid air.
For inside the cards I added some colour with more simple layers plus some coordinating stamped images. I did the same on the cards reverse with my name stamp:
With the addition of some clear gems or matching enamel dots the cards were completed.
I hope that you have enjoyed todays projects. Any questions please ask in the comments – I will be happy to answer 🙂
Thank you for stopping by folks. I have added a slideshow featuring extra images at the end of this post.
Take Care and Happy Crafting!
Aww, these are lovely Jenni.
I’m not a great user of stickers, but you’ve really made these cards look great.
Very well done!
