Friday Fun: Fabulous Shoes!

Hi again crafty folk!

I hope that you have all enjoyed some fun and crafty times since my last post 🙂

I’d like to share a ‘Fabulous’ project today using the Fabulous Shoe stamp set by Stampin’ up! This is an older stamp set, and I’m not sure if it’s still current, but it is a very pretty stamp set.

I have had a few projects in mind recently with this particular set and today I’m going to show you one that I made into a card kit. I wanted something to do whilst waiting at my daughters horse riding lesson and decided that taking a card kit would be a great idea.

I pre-cut the panels, pre-scored the card bases and packed the inks plus some simple clear diamante gems. With a small kit of the basics prepared I was ready to go!

Here is the finished project:

All the images and the sentiment are from the one stamp set. I had also taken my Clear, Wink of Stella brush pen and used it with the ink as a watercolour effect.

I had chosen the card and cut the bases plus the panels to make a few different styles of cards, all using the same colour palette:

The ink colour I chose is also a Stampin’ Up! product: Sweet Sugarplum. The phrase is stamped in Tuxedo Black ink by Memento.

All the panels layered together simply with narrow borders. The inside of the cards are also stamped with the butterfly image and left blank for the sentiments to be added at a later date.

These cards are a quick and easy design to put together and would be great to make in larger batches.

I hope that you have enjoyed popping by,

Take Care and Happy Crafting!!
