Friday Fun: Card Challenge

Hi crafters,

I hope that you are all well 🙂

Every so often I will end up with a pile of odds and ends on my desk. Items that have collected themselves from previous makes and sit there looking at me saying ” Go on then, lets see what you can do with us!”

So I do lol!

This is the pile of such a collection that began todays share:

The only item that I add to these panels is a sheet of A4 card if needed. I chose a Soft Sky blue card to complement the other items.

So off I went to create a card and here is how it went:

I cut the panels to the right size for an A6 card. I distressed the edges and embossed the vellum panel.

I lay all the items in place and then secured them with a strong wet glue. The vellum heart was cut from the leftover vellum and I used a Clear, Wink of Stella pen to add some subtle shimmer.

I was also able to create TWO gift tags with the extra materials:

Buy including a small piece of textured white card I ended up with two lovely tags. I used a Fiskars hole punch to create card ‘candi’ and a paper punch for the small hearts.

I always love these card challenges as it forces me to be extra creative. As the supplies are limited its a great way to become more inventive. Below are the rest of my photographs of the projects including the card interior:
