Todays project is, of course, aimed at male recipients.
I hade been wanting to try out some new fancy fold cards and had a go at Tee Pee cards – I LOVE THEM!!! seriously they are awesome, so much fun to decorate and embellish!
For this Tee Pee card I went with a nautical theme – I love the sea and the seaside in general. I really went all out to decorate this card – albeit within the confines of a masculine card. I know some folk find male card difficult but I really enjoy making them.
So here goes:
The photos show a basic tutorial with step by step pictures of the process. it really is quite simple to achieve 🙂
Next are the photographs showing the decorating of the Tee Pee base:
To achieve the effect of paper piecing, I used the front of the paper stack that I had chosen – it has smaller squares that show the papers variety, perfect for adding lots of colour and pattern.
I heat embossed the compass image and added a circle of acetate with a centre brad to depict a glass effect.
