Hi again and welcome to Switched up Sunday!

Todays ‘Switch’ is from a sewing  box to greeting cards!! Quite a difference I think that you will agree 🙂

I was so happy with the papers that I had used for the previously shared sewing box, that I wanted to use them for card making projects.

I knew that I wanted the cards to be simple and to let the papers shine, so I kept to using Black for the die cuts and trims:

I used different adhesives and cut multiple word die cuts.

I prepared the card bases and the paper panels.

A thin black trim off sets the bright colours.

I layered two die cuts together, then used a shimmer pen to add extra interest to the card.

I really enjoyed using these bright and vibrant colours – now I shall have to see if I can use them for masculine cards 🙂
