Switched Up Sunday!

Hey Folks,

Todays post is a new try for me. I’m calling it Switched Up Sunday as I will be posting cards or projects that have been inspired by a previous card or project.

We have all done it I think, we have made a card and during the creative process our thoughts of gone off on a tangent thinking ” …if I did this instead…” and had another project idea in our minds, before the current one is even finished! Also we are inspired by the talented Artists/crafters and their shares that are always around us.

So let me begin:

Below are photographs of two cards; The one on the left is the original and the one on the right is the inspired result of meandering thoughts 🙂

The Koala card I recently shared and whilst I was making it, I was thinking of another cute critter stamp that I could use. (Both stamps are wood mounted stamps by Stampin’ Up!)

I kept the layout the same although the bases’ the are white card. I used a different die to cut out the panels to give them rounded corners. I also stamped the Hedgehog stamp in memento inks and coloured them with ProMarkers.

I added the ‘hello’ die cuts and two pennant flags instead of one. I kept the papers bright and decorative but from a different paper-stack.

I find that small changes like this can produce very different cards and can also be very helpful when the artsy mojo has fled the building 🙂

Thank you  for stopping by, any questions then please ask away.

Take care and Happy crafting!

Jenny 🙂
