Hi once again and welcome to my blog 🙂
I would like to share a Card I made to celebrate a Wedding Anniversary.
I have been enjoying the latest trend using Laser cut panels or elements in card making, but these can be quite pricey. I am glad therefore, that craft companies are releasing more products that achieve the same or similar look for a fraction of the cost.
I recently shared a wedding invite that I made, that used a border die to achieve the laser cut look. I have just bought my first A5 die – it cuts a whole A5 panel, to really get the laser cut effect over and over again 🙂
I was very pleased with the outcome this die produced – very pleased indeed:
The edges are clean and smooth and the border is just the right width.
I used Ranger: Liquid Platinum embossing powder for the sentiment. I also wanted to add a strip of the same colour as a border to the sentiment panel. I edged the right sized white panel with Versamark ink, which I then embossed with the same Heat embossing powder as before.
I added a cluster of flowers using various punches, colouring some with a layer of Clear Wink of Stella for some added shimmer.
The finished card front plus decorated envelope. The stamps and punches for this card are from Stampin’ up!, the embossing powder is by ranger and the die is by xcut.
I hope you like and have enjoyed todays blog –
Take Care and happy crafting!!
