Hi all, I’m here to share another crafty crafting tip.
I would like to share another source of great crafting goodies – Charity shops!
Charity shops are the perfect place to find all sorts of crafting goodies. You can find items to decorate and up-cycle such as – trays, old boxes, furniture items. You can also use the fabric from clothing – or other items such as curtains to make fabric flowers, to cover mini albums or to cut into strips as ribbon trims or to make rag rugs.
I love rifling through the jewellery that’s in charity shops! I am such a magpie so find these selections irresistible! I use any items I find in a multitude of ways. I break down bracelet links to re-use in jewellery making, use larger ear-rings as flower centres and other items such as charms or beads for all sorts of projects.
So next time you go past a charity shop, pop in and have a browse. You will no doubt find a treasure or two and help out a worthy cause!
Take care and Happy Crafting!
