Thrifty Friday Crafting Tips – Wonderfully Washi

Hi again! I hope that you all well and have been enjoying some happy crafting time 🙂
Todays tip concerns washi tape. Now I am addicted to washi tape , which, can beome quite expensive! so I found a way to indulge my passion for decorative tapes, without blowing my crafty budget. My answer – micropore tape. Aka as medical tape, this tape is low tack and usually comes in an off white colour.

I love to stamp patterns onto my tape using the same ink or colours that I have already been using. This makes it very cost effective. You can use whatever colouring medium you already have: pens, pencils, inks.
This is also great for colour coordinating; use the same colour for your sentiment/image and the tape.
Micropore tape is also a good product to use with stencils, for masking off areas and keeping paper secure whilst using other techniques.

I hope that you have found this helpful, take care and happy crafting 🙂
