As I am still sorting through my more recent projects, I decided to upload another earlier favourite.
This card is one of at least five cards made during a workshop. The aim of the workshop was to design and use stamps to make our own decorative cardstock sheet and to then make as many cards as possible with that one A4 piece.
The paper seemed to have an oriental feel to it so I followed that lead and used an oriental peel off. I cut around it to make my topper. I then layered two panels onto Gold mirri cardstock, then onto a pink mat and used cream for the base.
I have always loved this card – too much perhaps as I haven’t been able to part with it yet. This card also shows that simple designs can work just as well as heavily embellished – even better sometimes 🙂
