This card I made at the same time as the previous Purple post. This time I bleach stamped onto green colour core cardstock which produced this light natural tone.
I wanted layers and texture again but also wanted it to be different in design from the previous card. I decided upon Three panels that decreased in size to make the most of the stamped images. I highlighted areas with gold glitter glue and wrapped each panel with a selection of Washi tape and natural toned raffia.
Once each panel had been added with foam pads, I added a fussy cut stamped image of an oriental bird house. This I had heat embossed with an Old Gold colour heat embossing powder onto white card. Then of course came the really fun part of the Cluster Layer lol!!
Here you can see the different sized and colour toned flowers with added buttons, card candi and metal brads in antiqued colour-ways. I had also coloured some of the paper flowers with my Promarker pens to get them the exact shade I wanted. Then there is the little wooden bird perched in the midst.
I love the colour combo with the oriental Birdhouse. I wanted it to be nature influenced and I think I achieved this – Either way I had a blast putting it together and I hope that you enjoy the finished result.
